Do I need to paint the back of the sheet?

Easycraft recommends that the back of the sheet be painted with a primer coat before installation when dealing with external cavities/building envelopes where condensation may be an issue. Painting/sealing the back of the sheet can minimise the potential for water absorption.

When using a registered builder, the builder should ensure the cavity will not have any form of condensation/moisture issues. Therefore, painting/sealing the rear sides of the board is not required.
